I’m down
And depressed
But who cares?
With this depression I could lose friends
I think that would the greatest thing
Will ever happen in my life
Because I don’t want to bore
People with the same story
They might end up saying
I am lying.

I have been praying to Jesus
And praising him
But I’m not loyal enough
I have chosen alcohol over him
I don’t trust him enough
With my problems
But who is perfect?

I have been told to find help
If not, I’ll be miserable forever
Who will able to help...

Souls are crying
Women begging
                     For their lives

          What have we turned into
     Monsters
                   No,  more than that.

            My dreams are forsaking me
                  They are replaced by these voices
      Voices I can’t recognise

Should I listen to these whispers
        Who hide in the dark
    But trust things that hide in the dark

              These days.
What happened to faith?
       Should be my hope by now
