Wreck-compense (Star Wars: The Old Republic, Republic Trooper)
It’s just another normal day,
Being thrown face-first into the fray,
Get comfortable and you won’t last long,
So fire off long and loud like you belong,
We’re about to dive head-first into battle so bring your parachute along.
Welcome aboard to Havoc Squad,
Where every bullet shell is a collectible,
And loyalty is valued more than decibels,
Storming strongholds and war-zones.
Our cannons bring the thunder so our mortars can rain,
Making “Havoc” more than a name.
And even when pushing the...

The Refugee by: Varric Tethras (Dragon Age 2, Part 1)
VARRIC: Another day in the life of Varric Tethras.
Lazy afternoon drinks at The Hanged Man overseeing trade agreements and underhand deals with the Carta to ensure the Merchants Guild's trust.
While any other day would entail these tedious tasks Varric set all previous plans aside to accommodate a very special guest.
Swiping all empty ale pints and suspicious looking scrolls Varric settles into his chair using the table as a footrest.
Emptying half his pint in one long gulp he slams the full sized mug down on the table.,
Swirling his quill in contemplation as to whether...

Just A Big Nuisance
The world is turning upside down,
The evaluation of one's life is defined by pronouns,
You're labeled as an oppressor even if you don't make a sound,
Wave the banner of resistance you'll be hunted by SJW hounds,
The greatest nemesis to free speech is authoritarianism,
If their goal is to reignite the Red Scare keep it up feminism,
They pollute internet forums and social gatherings like an aneurysm,
They say their voices are inhibited based on gender sexualizataion,
Complaining about limited rights and patriarchal...

Little Femmies Never Grow Up
Let's start our story,
About a young feminist,
Avid Tumblrite,
Learned of the brigade,
Social Justice Warriors,
Eagerly signed up,
"Check your privilege",
Was the pledge of allegiance,
Armed with pretenses,
Deployed to twitter,
Let loose on the internet,
Prepare your hashtags,
Always complaining,
About most everything,
Please leave us alone,
Projections abound,
Lacking any evidence,
She doesn't need facts!
But alas she tires,
Feminizing the world,
Is quite the workout,

Sparky, We're Going Under
Happy 5th birthday have you accepted rape into your life,
It's a patriarchal practice built from sadism and male strife,
A hedonistic ritual to keep us all under control,
The birthright of masculinity bestowed upon all men young and old,
They'll decry our institution of commercialized fear funded by the tax payer's dime,
But don't let them hide the irrevocable fact that their gender alone commits crime,
Just listen to their protests of our paranoia and self-destructive delusions,
Wielding weapons of statistics the opposition seeks...

Velvet Rose
A cloudless sky,
Reflections of the heavens,
An atmospheric goodbye,
The tranquility of the Seventh,
An airy sigh,
The lonely sail,
His sacred credence,
Our voyage through wind and hail,
A steady beacon,
Our path home,
His chosen children,
The lighthouse on the coast,
The strongest breath you can muster,
A sudden increase in speed,
Father I'm coming.

Knowledge is power,
The demolition crew,
To ignorance's ivory tower,
Troves of scientists and skeptic revolutionaries comprise the crew,
Manning the oars on ships setting sail to unknown distant shores,
Across unfathomable seas they traverse,
With a hunger greater than any whale and a determination outlasting a feral boar,
Seeking a truth more tangible than the sacred verse,
Their research brought understanding,
Their questions prompted the redefining,
Of the theocratic answers which for so long had been...

Skyline training grounds,
If you can see it reach it,
There are no limits,
Keep your momentum,
Rooftops are our stepping stools,

Plague: A Counselor's Account (Star Wars: The Old Republic Online, Jedi Counselor Dark Side)
It started out sincerely enough,
For innocence was forfeited long ago,
And dangerous times forced my master to forgo,
Daily rituals to keep my power handcuffed,
They insisted patience and restraint was all part of my training,
But without peace what am I gaining.
Fell from the clouds and expected to hit the ground running,
I know the force is strong in me but they’re throwing words around like “prodigy”,
I was barely introduced to my master before being warned a barbarian race were attacking,

Burdenless (Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, Lydia)
I have never been the strongest sword arm,
But when my strength falters she shields me from harm,
Am I truly the conniving creature haunting stories around the campfire,
For she throws her arms around me even when they whisper "vampire",
Sworn to my service yet not the bond we share,
A treasure that needs not to be stolen yet with rewards beyond compare,
To traverse the world and experience its wonders,
Was worth more to me than all of the gold I could plunder,
Carrying these burdens of wealth and loneliness,
Seemed all too...

The Runaway
So ashamed little Runaway,
Forced into a reluctant escape,
So wistful to remain,
In the solitude of yesterday,
Flesh and bone bonds will breakaway,
But looking back your home still fades away,
Left at the starting line so far away,
A trail of memories will pave the way,
To a gilded dawn of sunless days,
No the brightest future for our little Runaway,
But their majesties have the final say,
Crowned by dishonesty they begin their reign,
Upheaving the ground to force a change,
