POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
On the Other Side of Euphoria
Here i am
the only sign of life on empty streets
as the rest of the world falls asleep.
Here i am
in a time of need
and desperately close is nothing to me...
See, i don't want to just exist...
i clench my fist and think of tomorrow
and the opportunities i've missed
while in the haunting shadow of sorrow...
And in the shadows gloom seems to grow...
It's hard to see in the harsh light.
Time seems to be travelling so slow
and i'm caught in a continuous fight...
I had all the answers
but no...
the only sign of life on empty streets
as the rest of the world falls asleep.
Here i am
in a time of need
and desperately close is nothing to me...
I had all the answers
but no...

Blue Sky Thinking
Blue Sky Thinking
Hard Time Drinking
I've been sinking
in a Lunacy Lagoon.
In a blue sea swimming
My head is spinning
And i'm drifting
Away from you.
And as i sift my way through the madness
And paper over the cracks (of my past)
I ask myself the question...
Is there any going back?
Blue Sky Thinking
Hard Time Drinking
I've been sinking
in a Lunacy Lagoon.
In a blue sea swimming
My head is spinning
And i'm drifting off
Beneath a beautiful moon...
But i'll be back...
Hard Time Drinking
I've been sinking
in a Lunacy Lagoon.
In a blue sea swimming
My head is spinning
And i'm drifting
Away from you.
And as i sift my way through the madness
And paper over the cracks (of my past)
I ask myself the question...
Is there any going back?
Blue Sky Thinking
Hard Time Drinking
I've been sinking
in a Lunacy Lagoon.
In a blue sea swimming
My head is spinning
And i'm drifting off
Beneath a beautiful moon...
But i'll be back...
