Within Ice and Oceans
snowy white
meets oceans,
with an explosive
combining
of personality.
hypnotizing
im lost within,
trying to grasp
for something
I'm not familiar with.
motherhood,
like looking in
the mirror
and seeing bits
of who you once were
and who you hope to be.
dark circles surround
innocence,
with a hidden rage
and hidden drive-
polar opposites
coming together
into one.

Chaos and Debris
My inkwell has dried
temporarily,
suffocating on
words that
just
won't
come.
I try to find
a place to settle,
to find bits and pieces
of my tattered mind
not yet lost within chaos-
buried within rubble
of debris.
