I hear the darkness calling,
As my tears won't stop falling...
Taking me back to that place,
Where I can't distinguish my hand in front of my face....
I just want to be happy for at least 24 hrs.

As I think about my despair,
I'm turning into my worst nightmare.

Try walking a day in my shoes!
I hate caring so much,

But it's always nice not being able to feel my pain.
Even if the high doesn't last,
It's a relief to get away from my past.
