I typically don't feel led to pull from this deck for DU, so it surprised me somewhat to feel led to.

No. 6 FOURTH RAY OF HARMONY

The Fourth Ray of Harmony comes to you now with the qualities of beaty, harmony, and balance. I empowers you to complete a spiritual initiation. Any conflict you experience now serves your divine purpose. It will eventually become the fuel you need to be born anew. Something negative will be transformed into something positive. The Archangel Gabriel elps you to receive the blessing of the Fourth Ray of Harmony.

When this card is activated in your life you are approaching a spiritual initiation, which will create a new person, a new you. Initiation may begin with feeling torn between two choices or realities. You may wonder if you have what it takes to get through this. You do. As you discover your strength to be patient with the process, rather than trying to force an outcome prematurely, eventually you will outgrow the conflect altogether, emerging as a wiser, more powerful you. You will have gained a positive outcome from what was once considered to be a negative situation.

As this card strengthens in your soul, avoide becoming scattered, out of balance, or swinging from one extreme to the other in thoughts, actions, and emotions. Keep grounding yourself and be moderate rather than 'all or nothing' in regards to choices. This will create a successful outcome more swiftly than trying to force something to happen immediately.

Focus on the arts and your sensitivity to beauty will increase. Music, for example, will take on a new emotional depth, as will visual and other forms of art will. The beauty ( or chaos ) in your environment, and even the colors you wear have more impact on you than usual. Use this to your advantage in regards to you choices for what you listen to, what you watch, and what you read. Allow beauty to lead.

And remember, the mainstream is still operating in a fear-based energy that can absorb those who are not grounded. Ground. Focus on beauty. Follow your heart. When Archangel Gabriel enters a reading, an emphasis will be on sound healing and balance. Gongs. Rain sticks. Drums. Chanting. Music. All are wonderful tools to use during this time of transformation.

Namaste and beautiful day to all! xo

I'll share some Moonology and a personal story next. <3

Interestingly enough ( to me ) I've been listening to music again, branching out in my tastes. And I do need to get back into drawing; it's been like almost a year now. Vacation, slump, whatever needs to end.

Thank you for this. xo

MOONOLOGY

Current phase: waning 4th quarter in Aquarius with Mars ruling. It's a good day to wear white and burn bayberry incense.

Seeking Hecate

First, who is Hecate ( Hekate )? She is an ancient Greek mythological goddess who first appeared in Hesiod's Theogony in the 8th century BCE. She represents liminal spaces, i.e. - doorways, gateways, entrances, crossroads, and midnight, thus identifies with the Moon, underworld, spirits of the dead, and both medicinal and baneful plants.

She is known as Keeper of the Keys and is a light bearer, unlocking the secret portals of wisdom and carrying a pair of blazing torches that can illuminate the path. Whenever we feel we are in a liminal space or crossroads, and can't make a decision in regards to the direction to go, you can connect with Hecate for her guidance.

Many witches work with Hecate during the new Moon, I associated her with the fourth quarter Moon, when the shadows are deepening, but not completely gone, since Hecate herself is associated with light.  Moon placement is very important in working with Hecate. The fourth quarter Moon represents letting go, a time of endings, banishings, cord cuttings and so forth. Thus, when faced with a decision in a liminal space, the fourth quarter Moon is a perfect time to let go of the old while stepping into the threshold of new, as it's right between the apex of the last full Moon and the quiet new beginnings of the new Moon.

When faced with indecision, Hecate is there as a guide. I prepared to work with her since the last new Moon. The best slated time for me personally was last night, when the waning Moon was in my own Moon sign of Capricorn. However, in addition to working, I am also taking some very heavy classes which have a lot of reading and literal application. Last night I was so fatigued I just wanted to fall asleep on the couch. However, I forced myself to perform the pathwork ritual I'd been preparing for - to no avail, I thought, as I didn't feel much, and certainly received no guidance or gift.

However, right before falling asleep, I was meditating on the ritual, the words, and suddenly I had a vision of her handing me a feather. It was a very crisp, clear vision, and I fell deeply asleep and dreamt three times: the first was of my grandson being in potential danger, but then he was encircled with an orb of protective light; the second and third are somewhat vague and more difficult to expain.

Regardless, I woke this morning knowing exactly what I needed to do; and when I looked up the meaning of being handed a feather in a dream, it was an affirmation to what I had already awakened to. This Thursday, beginning with the New Moon, I'll be walking the ancestral pathway for a complete lunar cycle working with Almandine Garnet and my element, water.

I'll be sure to let you know how that all plays out. Ritual, magic, it's always there for you, and it's definitely what you make it.

This really resonates so much with the morning I had.

I couldn't decide on how to proceed with the cards you gifted me - so after I blessed them, I shuffled the heck out of the deck, and let a single card drawn determine the course.

It was an amazing session lasting almost 90 minutes with many personal insights. And it concluded not only with a poem that virtually wrote itself, but I also received potential inspiration for what I might tackle throughout April during the NaPoWriMo 2021 comp.

Off the top of my head, I would think being handed a feather would be receiving a bit of wisdom that would go towards freeing you from a limitation.

You know me -  I enjoy analyzing dreams. Always feel free to hit me upside the head with one.

Well, this wasn't a dream; it was a waking vision, so I do feel there is a difference. My ancestors believed feathers were highly significant symbols; most Native American tribes do. Of course the symbolic meaning depends on the tribe; or, even the vision itself.

I'm happy you're enjoying your gift and that it's bringing you joy.

Ooof. My bad, as I've never had a vision of that nature. Mine have been few and far between, on the verge of falling asleep or waking up or when meditating, but never with any sense of being conscious.

I am enjoying it immensely and will get a LOT of mileage out of it. ❤

Happiest of Birthdays to my Bestie! May it be blessed with much love and happiness! It seemed only befitting to pull from 'The Prophet' Oracle deck by Kalil Gibran:

No 28. THE VISION OF ONE LENDS NOT ITS WINGS TO ANOTHER

The astronomer may speak to you of his understanding of space, but he cannot give you his understanding.
The musician may sing to you of the rhythm which is in all space, but he cannot give you the ear which arrests the thythm, not the voice that echoes it.
And he who is versed in the science of numbers can tell of the regions of weight and measure, but he cannot conduct you thither.
For the vision of one man lends not its wings to another man.
And even as each one of you stands alone in God's knowledge, so much each one of you be alone in his knowledge of God and in his understanding of the earth.

^ It says volumes about how unique each person's experiences are. We each have a valuable perspective to share.

Envisioning being in the shoes of another is the closest we can come to experiencing another's, but such has to be voluntarily done, and still it comes nowhere close.

And yet in the same breath, it's a cautionary tale to not make assumptions until you at least make the effort to try.

Nope; it certainly doesn't, regardless of how much we try to envision. All we can do is admit we don't know, and hold space.

Happy Happy New Moon Day ( at 2:06 PM EST! )! I'll post some Moonology this afternoon, but for now, I felt led to post a simple  yet powerful affirmation:

HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS ARE ALWAYS POSSIBLE

While many may believe otherwise, you truly do draw each circumstance into your own life. If not by those you socialize with, then by your own vibration. While this card can definitely reference healthy relationships with those we associate with, the message I immediately received was in regards to the most important relationship: the one with yourself.

You cannot attain peace, balance, nor the security of a grounded life through another person. Why? Because another person is not emitting your vibration. Only YOU know what is best for you ( yes, you do ). We are all born with an innate guidance system which can alert you through feelings of that which is best for you. A positive feeling = alignment; a negative feelings = misalignment.

Misalignment can seem scary because most feel disconnected, as though they're floating aimlessly at sea without wind or wave to carry them. This is a vulnerable time because insecurity would have us believe others can alleviate our doubts. They can't; UNLESS, they point you back into yourself to discover the answers you seek.

While the shoulders and/or advice from a friend can be comforting, the ultimate future of such comfort rests in your decisions to become your own best friend; to listen to that inner guidance system when it approves or disapproves of a particular action, person, or piece of advice. No one is an island for certain; however, when it comes to your own ship, you are the only captain.

Be wary of who you invite onto your ship. There's an old proverb that says ( paraphrased ): Be careful who you allow on your ship. They could end up sinking it because they can't be the captain.

Namaste! xo

‧͙⁺˚*・༓☾ MOONOLOGY ☽༓・*˚⁺‧͙

Happy New Moon in Aquarius! 🌑♒

It's interesting to note that in astrology Aquarius is the 11th house, which symbolizes friendship, associations, humanitarian interests, as well as social life. What's more interesting is that this New Moon falls on the 11th day! In numerology, 11 is only one of three Master Numbers, is a Universal Messenger, and symbolizes spiritual awareness and a devout supporter of humankind - which falls right into alignment with the nature of Aquarius. That makes this New Moon super powerful.

Not only that, but SIX PLANETS are aligned in Aquarius right now. If that doesn't remind you of the song The Age of Aquarius' planets aligning, nothing will!

Aquarius is an Air sign and synonymous with thought; the moon in Aquarius creates a cerebral aspect and enhances that experience. Sometimes you feel so in your head that you're forgetting the tangible body supporting you. One thing to watch for, in addition to Mercury in Retrograde ( as if that wasn't enough tension between the two ), are the planets Mars and Uranus, who are both squaring the Sun, Moon, and Mercury! This makes for some palpable tension in discussion ( as evidenced on this board LOL!).

Just be aware of the source of anger and frustration if you begin sliding in conversations with friends, relatives, or a partner. Check yourself!

I don't want too much on astrology or numerology ( I am certain other members would love that opportunity ), I want to focus on the card and ritual tonight!  Do you have a new Moon ritual? I've shared several in this thread that have worked very effectively for me. If you have your own ritual please feel free to share it.

Because this New Moon is in Aquarius, it asks us to understand who we are, and to know ourselves—how we're different and unique, and should project that with confidence into the Universe so it's matched with like-energy.

I will be performing a 28 day ritual ( full moon cycle ) involving an elixir, and am also beginning Human Design II ( a fascinating modality ), so those are my new beginnings which will go all month.  I'm also completing a month-long assignment for an additional class, which has been grueling but rewarding. Trying to get all of this out of the way for NaPo!

I'll let you know how both go! I've already experienced three beautiful manifestations and haven't completed the ritual yet!

Tonight is powerful;  you have until tomorrow afternoon to bask in the energy of this New Moon. There are so many rituals you can perform to set your intentions, anything from a simple fire ceremony, to candle ceremonies, etc.  But how many of you truly follow through to experience the magic of completion?

Start anew tonight; follow through. Following through is mastering the art of allowing. And once you have mastered the art of allowing, anything you desire is possible.
