The Shoes Of A Clown    

I hit the floor
right , left
every step
cracks run over
the tarmac , white pavement
I'm scuffed and ignored
stamped on ton by ton
this sole is of poor
quality , man made I think .

Run me down
'til I leak
then start to speak
then chuck me out
if I squeak too noisily
if I don't fit the clown's big feet
who stepped in shit
so clumsily
who lived to trip
a stumbled day
with no grip to slip
away from play .

Great poems to read and peruse~interesting styles and messages! Every writer was worthy of recognition.  In choosing the winner, I went back to the "shoes speaking vibe" of what I was looking for:

MrA.,lightbaron, jadielue, and wing~~great quality, I really liked them- I was hoping for perhaps just a bit more-
Gypsy Red and somelikeithot~~ I loved the imagery...you two definitely have it going on in word and in message, hot shoes, both!
mcr4everyoung, and drivel~~powerful messages of tough life experiences, explicit word histories and appreciated.
ricecake- Beautiful imagery of a mystical place...footprints in the snow became real.
