If You could rule the world..
Poetry Contest Description
What would you do if Ruler?
If you could rule the world for just a day
what would you do with it?
No specific format
No specific length
No specific amount of entries.
I had a dream I ruled the world for a day ..lol.
You can only imagine the demands I made.. If not

As I readily rule my world
throned on the star of my choosing
I would gracefully walk to the shared space
of "the" world,
and roll the heads of any king
or queen that think
their rule extends
outside their realm
If my ego and skin alone
traversed this playground
of the in-between,
and garnered power
then shit-
I
could see a trickle down theory
where Devilishs' must see implication
could be extended to a harem of indulgence obsessed vixens
tending the poppies while chanting ay papi
and milking them both
I
could envision the book of revelation
enacted on world wide stage
where as ruler I am beast
and saviour
I
can see a vast
so vast
of a crock pot
being stirred with lysergia,
Yoga,sci-fi,divination,voo-doo and eye of newt
dashed with
insanity,illumination and intoxication
every person force fed
to entertain me
court jesters
them all
I would make a terrible ruler
as would anyone
that can't stick to their owned damned
sphere
throned on the star of my choosing

I'd get rid of diamonds and pearls
and learning Tae Kwon Do would be
mandatory for every girl.
Fuck ponytails and curls.
It would be like The Thunderdome all over the world
I'd teach women how to be the fairer sex
by using lode stones and hexes, then I'd
have a Bon Fire at the mall and burn up
up all the dresses
I'd get mad confessions...
from every serial rapist across the globe
as I would have each one of them disrobe
Then by a bull they'd get rode till there
bodies were cold
My maniacal laughter is all that you'd hear
as every pedophile would tremble in fear
With no where to run I'd capture them all
put clamps on there dicks and chains on their balls
and if that's not enough then just you wait and see..
each clamp and chain would get jolts of electricity!
Politics would not exist... only music and arts would rule
and for this I'd change all curriculum in school
No more report cards or home work each day..
You would get good grades if learned how to play
If you played guitar or drums or even a bass
I'd pass out A's all over the place!
If I ruled the world there would be peace indeed
because I would be the one to legalize weed!!

Just like American Express No one could leave home without it!
I'd have express your self day for the world to behold
While we sang Beatles tunes and kept passing the bowl...
Or bong if you prefer what ever floats your boat..
Oh yeah and I would buy one of those Matrix coats...
I'd walk around in my leather coat, with my crown on my head
but for sure every hungry child in the world would get fed
No more stock exchange ...no more people who were "super rich"
and they would all hate me
in fact they'd name me Queen Bitch
I would call David Duchovny and take him out on a date

I'd be the one they loved to hate!

If I were given the fair mantle of goddess of love,
By all the divines who reign from heavens above…
I would make of love a finer thing, more glorious,
So that it would make lovers sing out, uproarious!
Imagine if lovers could merge their very spirits too.
And know ecstasies that much greater, more true,
Than any humankind has imagined in poetic verse.
Imagine love undying, never fading for the worse…
But growing more magical, with each kiss shared,
Lending the heart strength so it cannot be scared!
And that is but the beginning of my blessings kind,
I would make love truly free for every soul to find.
No soul to be lonely, but every heart fully paired…
Knowing love eternal, with not a pleasure spared!
The angels would rejoice at my creation so lovely,
And all humanity would be granted angelic beauty.
Death would be undone, so love could so endure,
Without age to take from us, those we love sure…
No longer, would passion be solely to create life.
I would make of it an art, and with it end all strife!
No need for jealousy if love is the birthright of all,
And no need for guilt when lust leads none to fall.
I would make lust a virtue, with love as its’ guide,
With not a wickedness to taint it or within it abide.
We would all be as gods then, each in a paradise,
With no boundaries or barriers, nor society’s lies!
If two hearts be in love, even if the same gender…
I would bless their union, and make it the grander.
We need not the limits that are imposed so cruel…
By those who invent “morals” they use like a fool!
Let love be our law, and let life take its’ courses…
Leaving us to live life fully, marveling at its’ forces.
If I could reinvent love I would do all this so well,
That love would redeem even the damned in Hell.
This is the blessing I would bestow upon creation,
If I were a powerful goddess, of love and elation!

I wish I was a goddess, of serene beauty like the night.
Then I would live forever, and not need Heaven’s light!
For I could build a paradise, to rival Eden in its’ prime;
Both men and women would love me in ways sublime!
I would wear the finest garments, spun on angel looms,
And dwell in a temple with at least a thousand rooms…
No sacrifices to desecrate the altar of my eternal glory.
I would be a true living bible where is written my story!
My elect would be immortal, in this life as well the next,
And our garden would be like in Babylon, of elder text.
Flowers and plants of every hue and scent hanging fair,
From the towers of my temple, where the faithful dare!
Birds would make their nests atop the columns so tall…
And both marble and jade would adorn each high wall.
An amethyst arch would frame a gate of sapphire blue,
With no angel to keep mortals away, from what is true.
Like Elysium it would be and I would be as I am there,
Not trapped in human shell, but given my original share.
The sibling of the Light Bearer: illuminated and divine…
A goddess and a god, whose own light would so shine!
My wings would be six-fold, and my hair long, flowing,
Whilst my eyes would be all of azure: and also glowing.
Love would be my law, and I would bring it to all living,
Until the world was at peace, from the act of my giving!
Would that it were, I was granted such a glorious wish,
By the one who first made me, and then cast me away!
But now I am mortal, and the beauty I crave much less,
Than what I would be like within my true: angelic dress.

IF I COULD RULE THE WORLD
It is so hard to be ruler of the world
Even when elected, I do not get heard
I tried to impose democracy
Many nations laughed at me
The hungry were all fed
The naked were all clothed
Nobody was homeless anymore
I thought this was what
All were hoping for
I imposed a living wage
Then forbade the rich to keep
Everything they wanted to hold
Everyone is now equal
Or so they are told
Last week there was another
Attempt on my life
People are not happier
Than they were before
I imposed a law preventing hatred
This has been a hard one to enforce
Mankind seems unable to even tolerate
Those who avoid them
Those who cause them no harm
There is free healthcare for all
You would think they would be grateful
Some doctors are taking money
Under the table
Everybody has a job
Idle hands only help the devil
Most people are industrious
Undermined by the mischievous
Finally we attempted to breed out
Sociopathic traits in an effort to make
A better human race
However, the rate of mutation
Does not change
For every Mother Theresa that arises
A little Hitler rises again
So my people I speak to you
The new police is now in full view
The Morality police is what they are called
They have no guns
Guns have been outlawed
But they are Indigo children
Bred to be empaths
To stop bad things from happening
Do not think they are totally unarmed
Your very thoughts can bring you down
So now I have secured this world
You cannot think or talk
You will be heard
Taken away, in the night
For re-education to be all right
Sometimes it takes a month
Sometimes it takes a year
Our re-training camps
Are the best
Exercise, fresh air, and honest work
Will bring our citizens around
Quicker than brutality
Finally, I found a way
To impose equality!
It is so hard to be ruler of the world
