Wow, I am truly impressed by all the entries everyone-amazing stuff here, please continue and I see how hard this choice will be. (((thank you all))) peace xx

my  heaviest  punches are  down
im  writing  with  no hope  of  owning  the  crown
im  no  rapper,im  simply  a  poet  who  decides  to  rhyme
but they  dont  see that,all they  is my  offensive  lines
if  i  say  to   be  ruthless  in   my  style
i  see   everything  is  over  in  my  time.

no  more  reading  lists  of my  poems
the  block  lists-too  many  in  the  moment
no  trophies  again  no  runner  ups i  become  flow-less
inbox  and private  messages gone  like  a  torrent
hell  yeah  im  done  its  all  gone  away but  maybe  this  poem
will  make  me   win this  contest so i dont  get  rotten.

They're taking it away
the very essence of my existence
There they go
Broad daylight robbers
They came in form of friends and lovers
Now they've hurt me so bad

Im a victim of trust
Im a victim of lust
And what's worse's that forever Im lost
The game to regain my past's a game in vain
At last I have no other companion than pain

With eyes teary i watch it slip off
My hand suddenly empty just when I thought I had it all
They gave me what I already had and took what I needed most
Its time to be a ghost
I wait for the big fall

They're taking it away
The very essence of my existence
There they go
Broad daylight robbers
They came in form of friends and lovers
Now they've hurt me so bad

Slowly,slowly fading away
The fame's brief and the fun wont stay
Caught between praying and playing
Can I endure another day
Without this thing they're taking away?

There are Those Days of Worlds Gone Gray

There is this day,
When all is well,
All is fine and dandy.
There is this moment,
When the day is high,
The sky looks nice and tasty-
Even I can touch it.

There is a moment,
When times get foggy,
Dreary, dead and deaf.
The blues go cold,
The brights go dim,
Falling from the sky-
I am.

There is a moment,
When the now and then,
Is no longer lovely.
It's painful to trudge on,
Hurtful to laugh,
Yet the tears don't come.

Gone goes the blue skies,
Gone is the taste of candy,
Gone is my bright high life-
Left me here to die.
I fell.
So the world turned to gray.

There are those days.
