Cosmic View

Rhinestones detailed on the fabric of the sky
Dumbfounded by its beauty it's magic to the eye
God sewn in a number of constellations
They all tell a story according to my observation
The end result of mixing fantasy with reality
There's so much to explore in such an enormous galaxy
Supernovas and milky ways
Shedding their light the night becomes glazed
God's own masterpiece an opus of genius
The way He made the stars enhanced the view of Venus
From planet Earth it all looks microscopic
Looking through my telescope the view became more cosmic

THE SKY AT NIGHT

Only in the dark countryside

Can you really see the sky at night

Only in the dark, by the moonlight

Can I see your aura

It emanates deep colours

Vibrates as you breathe

Sometimes walks around you

Each colour is like that of a star

Glows intensely for a few minutes

Then rests for a while

Only to resume in making you

The rainbow of my life

They are, as it were...

In transient constellations
parting then colliding
Falling
Binding
Reminding
Cassiopeia spread like the freckled pattern I wear
Orion sees nothing
The comets mute
The archer aware
Is it written from here to there
If it is..I would declare
Victory
As they fall to me
Yet...
In reality it is clear
A star may have fallen
Fallen indeed
Yet it's burned out mass
Is all I see
And Astrology is Earthly
When woven so carelessly
then packed out to sea
Yet on a clear night
Sighted past shiny orbs
of molten flow
and the moon
The sun, the planets
The stars will never know how to be
Nor ever exist like me
Here to there to
Infinity...

You get me higher than the stars,
get me higher than the fireworks.
Blonde hair that shimmers in the dark,
like the gold I know you're worth.

You take me higher than the clouds,
get me higher than the patterns in the sky.
When you wrap me in your arms,
and will all my tears to dry.

You get me higher than the moon,
get me higher than the sun.
Watch for the light to fade,
then away we can run.

You get me higher than the stars,
get me higher than the fireworks.
Blonde hair that glitters in the sun,
like the gold I'd never give you for.

So at the very end of my heartache
I search high above these skies
I look for unknown sparkle
Like magical diamonds in your eyes.

I know that you are out there
searching somewhere too
maybe you are dreaming
or searching in skies once blue.

Tonight I look in shimmers
silver arcs surrounding moon
come to me my sweetheart
share the love that waits for you.

Precious angel follow the haze
right back to this here heart
as when morning breaks tomorrow
this heart will share its love.

Star guide my sweetheart home!

the sun has set,
as we lie on the warm earth
and look upon the purple sky
we map out our destined birth
in constellation of astrological sic-fi

i Whisper,
look how our cosmic myths interweave,
how the stars shine this eve,
Venus is always first to appear, and disappear.

As we sit on the windowsill
and gaze into the night so still
life's mystic notions draw us
to wish upon the sparkle stars

under my breath I say,
So profound and ecstatic they are
like celestial diamonds,
night after years of nights, ever existent

Darkness covers the hours,
we are absorbed by stellar powers
so we embrace in the moonlight
and our souls reflect the cosmic sight,
the stars, how they shine in your eyes tonight.

Space! and forgotten star
Rockets were OK but they have had there day
Now its time now for our dreams to play
Their's a new thing out an invented dream
Its a cool sort of flying machine
It plugs into a computer ready to lift off
It circles space we will soon be off
Son to Mum are you ready to go?
Carry on Son I want to see the star show
Lifting off in a cloud of sparks!
Hold on tight its not game for a laugh!
Traveling at the speed of light
The forgotten star is soon in sight
Mum! what was that Star once called?
That was Earth son, Its people were cold.
They started Wars and were never at peace
And sometimes starved other in grief
They were called Mankind!
A forgotten race they were left behind
Look down onto the ground and see them fight
There all idiots doing it day and night
Lets fly onwards this is a sad race
Mankind was a waist of space!
Flying onwards turn left at the moon
The stars float by as we zoom
Aim for the northern side of mars
There's a planet there that builds space cars
We can buy one for your dad
And on his birthday he will be glad
OK mum were coming in
Landing belts on, look at me spin!
Don't show off son
That’s how the humans went mad!
Sorry Mum!
Please don't tell dad.
