If you have lots of poems and you're not sure how to save them all, please use this print friendly page (shows 200 poems per page):
https://deepundergroundpoetry.com/printable-submissions/
Most browsers will also provide an option to "Save as PDF" in the print destination drop down. Refer to your own web browser's documentation for info on that.
Hearty Hugz & Salutezz dear Webmiss for this easy downloadable format!
able to do this.. but did anyone notice, that the entire formatting is lost.. is it that way only? or anything could be revived in the exact formatting one did .. to be downloaded..
If anyone knows & directs, it would be really helpful xx
Also, the viz poems are totally killed n just a void in there.. in the download
even in DU print antho, no place for viz .,..
saddening .

All things being equal, I am more than happy to let my 1000 poems (under 2 profiles) just rot and die in cyberspace. Amongst the eulogies and sadness here, in little over 2 years the traffic has become quieter than the morgue shift at the universal cemetery. What is that telling you? Anyways, that not helping your question. So I apologise.

Very sad news indeed
It’s because of all the feedback I received from DUP that I am now a published author
I will miss this place greatly and all those that read my poetry 🖤🖤🖤🖤

Thanks for the honesty, I'm not happy at all, I think maybe the site just needed a reboot to boost it, its not the members fault things got boring. I only wish the site could have been revamped especially with todays use of AI systems to cut down on human work, I mean administrative not poetry itself which shouldn't use AI. A whole bunch of members have come out of the woodwork here with their regret, that says it all, we just needed a little help over a bump, but will there be one or is it too late..
And thank you to Cipher for his site effort, hope it goes well, will keep checking it out

Something about burnin' down the whole damn library and starting over that makes me equal parts excited at the prospect and envy for the courage of the soul to do just that. I've been writing a continuous 'tapestry poem' for the last 14 years, so I'm compelled to keep most of mine. I'm just afraid much of my work won't make sense without the previous work to inform the newer work! Salud to you, Rob!!

The Great Rianne was the first I saw
who had a willingness to leave her
poems to the elements...
She said she could write them again,
and totally meant it...
That fierce spirit was so inspiring...
I have always been one to keep
every single thing I wrote...
But since joining the site, I have
been seeking to be a bit more
punk rock in that regard...
I think having a willingness to
just let it all burn adds a dangerous
element to the work...
I think the reader can feel that
wild spirit...
I really don't care...
And yet I do...
A lot lot...
I have generated this paradox
on the frontiers of my heart
and soul...
I think, for me, a lot of it comes
from actually experiencing near
death events and losing it all...
Perhaps...
This is why folks who have had
traumatic events can experience
extra sensory perception...
It's a fine line because it could also
lead to things like suicide...
The disposition of a writer certainly
undergoes things of a different
nature...
I remember there was an author
who lost everything...
They said it was like climbing a
rope and having the whole climbed
part of the rope burn...
He was left hanging over an abyss...
Was nearly mind destroying...
I can remember the few poems I
lost along the way, for varying reasons...
Trying to reproduce them...
For me, I have sought an organic
connection to life and art...
Being one with the seasons and
the chaos inside of the seasons...
Connecting in such a way to
promote breakthrough...
Upon joining the site, and seeking
to write everyday...
I didn't think I could do it...
To come up with the ideas seemed
impossible...
Then I challenged myself to just
write a lotta poems...
I thought about the Oregon Ducks
under Chip Kelly...
That high octane offense as defense....
How exciting it was...
I challenged my self to make plays
on the field of self...
Sometimes I would be writing a poem...
And just start another immediately..
And another....
If I saw an opening, any opening...
I'm taking it...
Then I started seeing the structure
of self change...
But it was rooted in the attitude,
I think...
Hell yeah, I can write all that
over again..!
But yes...
I think this sort of "Punk Rock" attitude
drives the work in a cool way...
Especially for the modern age...
Especially for the mental health aspect...
Keeping writing alive and fun is the
hardest thing...
I think those elements are...
Very important...
(Makes me think of Robin Hood,
when the dude asked him how
he did the sword fight...
He said the secret was not caring
if you die...
That mindset is so hard to achieve...)

I miss Rianne, but her and the others who either have been too busy to visit during the last 60 days, or are afraid to because they made posting errors in the past that were reprimanded, will likely never be reached again, such a shame. I wish there was a way the site could remain open even in a dormant state ie. closed to the public so we can all continue to communicate.
Mistress, help, is there anything more you can do, i regret being absent of late and humbly apologize, you were never far from my mind....
(insert poetry later if i ever get to...)
