Venus retrograde enters Pisces early Thursday morning @ 4:41 AM, EDT, in the realm of values, substance, and establishing bodily awareness and physical security.
Venus Rx travels from her detriment in Aries back to her exaltation in Pisces; therefore, the complementary forces will be increased and virtues magnified to balance out the retrograde.
The transit of Venus typically signifies a period when the cosmos bestows upon us a modest gift of warmth or affection, as well as a well-earned respite. These times are often sociable and amiable, where we engage in more mingling than usual and show greater interest in fine dining and comfortable surroundings over anything that resembles work.
One way to understand a Venus retrograde, outside of understanding Venus herself, is to compare it to Mercury stationing ( which just occurred Saturday ), except the energetic disruption will be on an emotional level ( heart ) rather than a mental level ( mind ).

The last time that Venus went retrograde in Aries was March 4th, 2017, and it retrograded back into Pisces on April 15th of 2017. Venus' initial ingress into Pisces was on January 3rd, then it departed from Aries for the final time on June 6th, 2017.
Interesting events that occurred during Venus' last retrograde was the mass protest and march by women during Trump's first 100 days. It was the largest single day protest in US history at that time with an estimated three to four million participants nationwide. The "Me Too" movement also began in 2017.
Currently across the country, massive protests are taking place organized by women, veterans, social groups, and organizations. It appears these patterns may be repeating themselves, especially when Venus passes through the same degrees on the same days with relationship to the Sun as it did in 2017.
Ironically, The Handmaid’s Tale premiered April 26th, 2017. Based on the book by Margaret Atwood, depicting a dystopian future in America controlled by Christian Nationalism, which suppressed women's rights, making slave ownership and rape a legal facet in the name of "God".

It would benefit us to demonstrate a bit more caution in our actions by refusing to make impulsive decisions. Whether considering a separation, reunion, established boundary, or major purchase, we should take time to consider long-term consequences. Especially with Mercury Rx until April 7th ( though the postshade period will last until April 22nd.
Venus will station direct in Pisces Saturday, April 12, and re-enter Aries for the final time Wednesday, April 30th.

Early Saturday morning, we're going to be experiencing a partial Solar Eclipse and New Moon in Aries @ 6:58 AM, EDT conjunct Psyche. Regardless of whether or not we're in the direct path or visibly see it, its energy will be palpable. ✨💫
Last year's total Solar Eclipse was the last until 2044 ( 20 years ). The previous total solar eclipse occurred in 2017. In places like Detroit, MI, the last Total Solar Eclipse was 201 years ago. Although there are plenty of similarities between the 2017 and 2024 total solar eclipse, there were notable differences. Mainly, the 2024 eclipse covered more land and lasted longer.
The 2017 eclipse started over the northwest US and moved southeast. Additionally, that eclipse's path was up to 71 miles wide, compared with a maximum width of 122 in 2024. Perhaps most importantly, the Moon completely covered the Sun for just two minutes and 40 seconds in 2017 vs nearly four-and-a-half minutes in 2024.
This year's eclipse won't be nearly as dramatic; however, it will be powerful, nonetheless. Or should I say STEAMY from the buildup of Fire and Water energy? Seven of the nine planets occupy Aries and Pisces along with the North Node, three asteroids, the Lot of Spirit, and the Lot of Fortune all in the First and Twelfth Houses.
It's important, if you truly want to understand the spiritual meaning of an eclipse, that you understand the luminaries involved: the Sun and the Moon. These two are revered as the most ancient and human spiritual symbols in history, dating back to the Babylonians in 1800 B.C.
The Sun represents the conscious mind—the inner observer symbolizing inner light and extension of Christ consciousness, which facilitates our personal resurrection and ascension.
The Moon represents the subconscious mind, an extension of our inner life, intuition, and emotion. But because this light is only a reflection of solar light, it means what we experience may need further discernment.
An eclipse is a collision of light and shadow; therefore, our experience can be intense, manifesting as deep revelations, sudden epiphanies, and accelerated spiritual evolution.
This will be highly impactful because this event is conjunct Psyche, the Goddess of the soul, and her story is complicated (not unlike our soul), filled with mythic quests, betrayals, Love and trials - much suffering and troubling with a happy ending.
And if that doesn't define the journey through the Twelfth House of limitations, sorrows, and frustrations contrasted by hidden strength and spiritual attainment into the First House of new beginnings and a fresh outlook on life, nothing will.
According to Elizabeth Cheever-Gessaman, Psyche is a totem of meditation for those who are seeking healing and trauma through therapy and a deeper understanding of themselves, and a reminder of the beauty and joy that await us from within.
Her teachings and lessons assist us in learning how to confront all the dark and mysterious places of the soul. Through these trials, Psyche was well-prepared for her eventual union with her beloved, Eros, son of Aphrodite.
Her history reminds us that the integration of our experiences, however sad or frightening they may be, mature and transform us, like her symbol, the butterfly, emerging into the light from the darkness of the cocoon.
This conjunction mirrors 2024's conjunction with Chiron in Aries, highlighting the wound of 'Self'. This wound may have originated from various trauma types, yet the result is consistently similar across each specific sign.
For Aries, the Chiron wound centers around a fundamental sense of worthlessness.
We had the opportunity to work toward increasing our self-esteem and worth. This is especially impactful if we'd been bullied in the past, or our attempts to demonstrate courage and self-assurance were shot down by someone whose opinion we valued.
Psyche had to prove her worth to Aphrodite by accomplishing a series of dangerous feats that were seemingly impossible. By successfully learning the lessons these tasks required, the goddess Psyche embarked on a remarkable journey of self-discovery and personal growth that earned her the respect of all the gods and goddesses on Mount Olympus, not to mention the respect and undying love of her husband, Eros.
Eclipses are harbingers of change and new beginnings often feared by certain cultures as bad omens. But our goal can be to learn strategies or lessons that involve psych(e)ological healing that develops a new perspective, courage, and confidence.
To further understand this eclipse, we can delve into the placement of the New Moon @ 09° Aries. Eclipses can reveal recurring patterns and lessons we've learned. If you can think back to last year's or 2017's eclipse, ask yourself what lessons you were learning? What lesson did you learn between 2024 and now?
In 2017, I was in a contract I loved, but in a toxic environment affecting my health. I wanted so badly to terminate but had no other prospect lined up. The following year, when faced with spiraling health issues, I had to make a choice: my life or that contract.
I chose my life and terminated my contract without any prospects outside of my photography business, which was failing due to my health and inability to maintain energy during events. You can imagine how scary that was.
I stepped out in faith, built two brand new businesses, and am where I am today seven years later, I'm busier but happier than I've ever been.
In 2024, I discovered a modality that I have been studying for over a year and will be fully implementing it in April.

Neptune enters Aries: An Elemental Collision—As Without, so Within
Neptune entered Aries this morning for the first time in 165 years and will remain there until 2039. I was thinking as I composed this that I will be 79 years old in 2039; therefore, this could be my final experience of a Neptunian transit, or any outer planetary transit, for that matter. If it is, at least I'll go out with a bang!
2025 has been predicted to be a year of profound shifts encompassing new beginnings and endings on a generational level. This Neptunian transit is the secondary step readying us for a new paradigm shift because every outer and transcendental planet except Pluto, who completed his transit into Aquarius November 2024, will be entering new signs this year.
So, what is a transcendental/generational planet? There are three planets considered transcendental: Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. When a transcendental planet such as Neptune ( considered the higher octave of Venus ), enters a new sign, it leaves an imprint on an entire generation.
Each generation is measured as the space between reproductive cycles and children ( roughly 35 years ). In astrology, the difference is measured by five signs, a quincunx or inconjunct ( coming of age "aspect" @ 150° ). Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto all take between 84 ( Uranus ) - 248 ( Pluto ) years for one cycle of the zodiac; therefore, these three planets are considered transcendental, or generational.
The remaining outer planets are Jupiter and Saturn, which take 12 - 30 years to cycle the zodiac. While all planets beyond the asteroid belt are considered "outer", only the three aforementioned are transcendental.
With Pluto—the third transcendental planet—grounded in Aquarius, Neptune—the second transcendental planet—having entered Aries, the remainder of outer-planets are closely following: Uranus—the first transcendental planet—enters Gemini for the first time in 76 years, followed by the two outer planets: Saturn stepping into Aries for the first time since 1999, and Jupiter entering Cancer for the first time since 2014.
You can see how significant these outer planetary transits are. Typically, when just one of these planets changes signs, it’s felt collectively. But to have all five entering new signs in such a close proximity to one another can be considered unprecedented in modern history.
Neptune in Aries
Neptune in Aries combines the dreamy nature with vibrant action. Aries activates us to demonstrate our spiritual and imaginative traits through bold and assertive behaviors. Those with this natal placement demonstrate both imagination and idealism along with an enthusiastic drive to achieve their dreams.
This transit serves as a journey toward self-understanding and spiritual enlightenment which strengthens personal identity and life purpose. This ingress will shape personal development and goal achievement throughout the next 14 years, creating a distinctive combination of vigor and inner reflection that has the ability to direct us to our future goals.
Neptune in Aries Historical
From a historical perspective the discovery, naming, and recognition of planetary bodies in outer space has coincided with leaps in the evolution of human consciousness and corresponding cultural changes.
For example, just before and after the discovery of the first transcendental planet, Uranus, in 1781, humanity witnessed the American and French Revolutions.
When Neptune, planet of mysticism and illusion, was discovered in 1846, idealist movements such as transcendentalism and spiritualism emerged. In 1930, with the sighting of Pluto, planet of mass transformation, the awakening of a sense of collective welfare and the dawning of the Atomic Age brought humanity face-to-face with a choice of life or death.
The discovery of each new outer body indicated that humanity was ready to activate and integrate the archetypal principle inherent in the mythology of that planet.
Neptune has been in Aries six times since 1000 A.D. While many significant events before the 1800's occurred, I'm only going to focus on the last due to time and length:
Neptune was in Aries between 1861 to 1875. The following events occurred during this time:
• The American Civil War symbolizing themes of freedom and new beginnings.
• Native American wars and the development and forced occupation of reservations.
• Emancipation Proclamation that freed enslaved people.
• The 14th Amendment to the Constitution is ratified, granting citizenship to
all persons born or naturalized in the U.S.
• Passage of the 13th Amendment abolishing slavery.
• Ratification of the 15th Amendment, granting suffrage to African American men.
• Wyoming & Utah grant unrestricted suffrage to women
• Michigan and Minnesota grant women suffrage rights for school elections.
In reviewing the above we can determine some themes of Neptune in Aries:
• Upheaval: Political, spiritual, and philosophical change
• Visionary advances: Freedom and equality
• Innovation: Forward movement
Comparing the above to the current political, spiritual, and philosophical climate here in the US, it's not difficult to see how this pattern is repeating.
Neptune entering Aries is akin to slagging through a foggy more and suddenly emerging into brilliant sunlight. Our eyes may sting, our skin, damp from the fog, begins to sizzle, and the dreaming of a clear path is a reality right before us. This transit isn't about daydreaming but day doing. It's not about self-pity or frustrations, but courage and commitment to accomplishment.
And yet, these elements can balance one another beautifully: Fiery Passion & Deep Tranquility.
Utilize caution in regard to over-ambition or you could overlook pertinent details. Exercise patience but not indolence. Be ambitious but not foolish. Fuel the pioneering spirit carefully with intuition. With Neptune, you have to ensure that the guidance you're receiving is your own and not absorbed from an outer influence. Reality and delusion are polarized here and swinging too far to one side has its consequences.
And why would you do that when you can reconcile them so easily by retreating into yourself to discover your own intuitive voice and guidance. Just don't stay there. And why would you? You have a generational imprint to leave behind in the form of history.
