Narcissistic porcelain of seedless soul
lonely and sleeveless without a heart
on stormy nights echoing Shakespeare
without shadows, just flames of duress
of unconscious mind contrarious insanity
blinded from the sight of self's endless
epiphany's face in the crowd

your hidden casket is imbued halo where darkening mantle
holds nihilistic hindsight when he kisseth softly unfolding
finesse fibered slithering satyr uninhibited macaber
caressing each carcass leaving his cup untouched
conium seeping saplings ever cling to breeding lips
praying mantis has gathered in tentacles open
shadowing figurines chant chasms in hunger
vernissage glimmering mossy banks taunting
sharpening veins inhaling vernal venom preying
vampirical scarlet magnified masquerade

Narcissus
Akin to a peacock, prancing gracefully,
With a dazzling allure
That blinded the besotted eyes,
Looking upon them with disdain.
Smitten with his own image,
When the pool cast back his charm,
He pined away, sunken in vanity,
Sprouted the Narcissus flower
From his self-consumed, seedless soul.
