Do you have kids or want to?

I’m a mother of 12. All were born at home and I hope to have more.

Any questions or comments?

I have 2. Being a parent is definitely an experience worth having but I wouldn't want to have any more. Don't think I could handle a baby now. Luckily, it seems you have the future covered. 12 kids. That is almost mind boggling. You must have the patience of a saint.

Good for you!

Nobody is prepared for what it takes. You just have to do it and make it work. I’m glad you have 2. They are such a blessing. My mom had 2. From that she got 15 grandkids so far! (My sister is done after having 3. As in she’s single and too old to have more.)

The hardest part is watching how they treat my husband as teens. All children are born innocent and presumptuous fools, and typically unaware of how dependent they are.

After that it typically gets better.

And if it gets too brutal there’s always a baby to kiss.

Hmm...a couple of takeaways here. You said so far but your sister is done. So, you are open to having me kids? Also, you said you were bothered by how they treat your husband. In what way? They treat you differently? Lastly, 2 kids were freaking expensive. You, your husband or a combination of both must earn quite a decent wage. May i ask how old is your youngest?

6 months! 😁

My sister is seven years older than me and single - so she’s got no chance to have more. I’m only 42 so I’m not finished. Hopefully I’ll have extra years of fertility.

I have 5 basically adult kids, aged almost 17 - 23.  Our grandson from our oldest is almost the same age as my eleventh child. ❤️

My sister looks like a grandma and I think she’s ok moving into that stage of life now.

So far we’ve saved about 2 million dollars by doing everything naturally and living in the woods with a little homeschool setup.

Adult kids… you know they need the most help… And are the most costly. Potentially making the biggest mistakes. Hard to advise. My husband is the most involved with our oldest.

My oldest son is engaged to a sweet Spanish girl and is doing well building their lives together. They want to have children, too. She’s in the middle of a serious athletic career for now, as part of her college experience. So I eagerly await their children, but am prepared to wait for that.

My 4th, a daughter, is happily engaged to a young man in India who is an only child but wants to have a lot of kids also. Their wedding will be quite an accomplishment. 😱 And a long road is ahead of them to get there.

What really worries me is my adult unmarried daughters. I am praying they get their ideal partners and eventually - children.
