Poetry Contest Description
An Articulate dis of someone you despise or despised
Destroy someone that deserved it with words, without swearing or cussing.

Everything That Is You
I hate you and everything that you truly are.
I once thought that you were the shining star,
But I was a fool because you became a meteorite,
Having everything around me burn red and white.
You said that you loved me, but I was just a pawn
And soldier in your game. Even before the dawn
Came I knew that things could never be the same.
Deep down rooted within me there is pain, shame
And fiery anger. If only you could understand it all,
But you are too selfish to care. I was your rag doll,
Only being pushed around and trying to please you,
But nothing could make you completely happy. To
You I am just another person you can throw away.
But I cannot let you treat me that badly. I still pray
To forgive you because I know that nobody could
Ever truly ever be that bad intentionally. The good
Parts of you are there even if you cannot see them.
I have become sturdy like a flower and its stem.

Lost your mind and your hat on it
No riff or rhyme for two suffice...
Shot a hole in the Christmas turkey
Threw some cheese in the collection plate
Selling ethics to the lowest bidder
Pimpin' ho's with inverted hate
Buying wine to wash your pinto
Smacked the Yin across the Yang
Cracked the glass if it's half empty
Sold the car to get some crank...
Shot your foot and never knew it
Crippled a man with just your breath
Stole a watch to never use it

Can stand to see you coming
Shoot!, had dentures at seventeen
Smoked the church on Easter sunday
Dipped yo granny in whip cream
Not worth the clothes your wearing
You ain't someones no one at all
Just too lazy to be a nihilist
For the love of God unhinge yo' jaw...

Ode to a girl that hates my guts
I know you really hate me
and here’s the funny thing-
if it came down to liking you
I’d rather lick a skunk’s ring
because you went behind my back
to commit a whole host of sins
(I heard it was really classy,
behind the back of KFC’s bins)
I know you say he’s happier
and you now do “that thing he likes”
but I’m afraid he’s only with you
because he only goes after bikes
and rides them until they get rusty
and he’s had his greedy binge,
perhaps you could get an oil can
to grease shut that leg-shaped hinge.
I guess I’m saying you were selling
and he was simply a buyer
but if you were telling the truth
then why are your knickers on fire?
I mean it could be that a match
just fell into the crease of your lap,
but knowing his long history
girl, you’ve probably got the clap
and it’s alright, you can have him
‘cause my Mother taught me how
to give my used up toys away
to the much less fortunate cow.
