More specifically, write on the time-be it 1 in 100 that it/they get to you and it's unbearable...

Hello darkness, goodbye bliss
Not today, not now
anything but this
I dance this floor
usually enthralled
Today it's less lambada
more like a crawl
I sink deeper
into anything but this
and think of the moments
When I don't mind
Doing dumb shit

The words flow
endless,
like
raging-running water,
wearing down
the rocks of time,
smashing pretense,
it's all common sense,
this life we're living.
We're giving it
our best shot.
Sometimes we're not.
When I get in a rut
spilling my guts.
I read
the work of others.
Ninety-nine percent
of the time it works,
I love it,
reading other poets.

99 Percent
Most of the time
that I play the guitar
I like the ryhme , the tunes
so far .
When I make pizza
or pen some lines
this appeals to me
just fine .
When I get fucked up
and don't need a bucket
or plenty of luck
gets chucked
this much I can covet
mostly .
99 percent of things
I re-invent
so it's more interesting .

when it really gets to me

But that is only
