Burned

He was a king..

Lured by his fire

I came to him



He was a great man

Greater than any deity I ever known

His strength surrounded me

I bowed to him



He was my conqueror

Wanting nothing less than my soul

He stood strong in his command

He insisted the lead

and I followed



He was a great warrior

His crusades were brilliant

With respect and honor

He reigned …



His spell possessed me

He was a magnificent ruler

And I was his support

He called for me night after night

I gave myself to him

And he pleasured himself in me

I was a spoil of war



I loved him

My emperor…

My lover..

I served him well

My world was him

Giving him what ever he desired

And he lost himself in the enchantment



But no one is truly faithful

No one tenaciously lives by their word

Not even a King



Where was his loyalty?

His greed made him foolish

and easily exposed to defeat

His wicked heart

Fowl and selfish

Destroyed my lust for life



What a beautiful man he was…

How could he be capable of

such damage and destruction..

His pride caused his misery

His power lost

and I was the source,

turned as his enemy, I plotted the invasion



Love can be a dangerous thing

The agony in my heart fueled my fury

My vengance.

My hatred matured.



His betrayal

His arrogance

caused such a rage in me

Scorned, It was I who inflicted his pain.

It was I who rose up against him

and watched in satisfaction

as he was dethroned .

Cast out into the darkness

The remains of his history burned to ashes

as he lie weak and suffering

with his life barely spared



He was a great man

Beautiful

Strong

I loved him

He WAS my king.
