My Bat seems Broken
An Original Poem

Here I sit broken hearted just as before cause
I can’t get started as she smiles and laughs and
plays with my grass.
But while this is crass my bat seems broken as she
plays with my grass her smile is at best, seems a token.
Now I’ve been at bat many times over but never before did I need a
four leaf clover!
The morel of the story is mixed with emotions as any gal will say
“The damn thing is broken so go away and come back some other day!”
