Can't Help It

Feelings flood into my spinning head
Feelings begging for attention
While I roll in my cozy bed
Caught in deep meditation

For I have traveled this road before
It brought only sad tales to tell
So I concluded not anymore
I bidded deep emotions farewell

But behold I set my eyes on you
And the dying fire is rekindled
I'm running out of options what must I do
Something inside me is dying to mingle

Hoping history doesn't repeat itself
Oh God I know they always do
In self-delusion I lie to myself
Expecting to see something new

This is a temptation I cannot win
Close my eyes and walk in blind
Fear,suspicion are locked within
Feeling positive about what I will find

For turning back is not an option
What I see is so appealing
My treacherous heart has set me in motion
Can't help it,once again I'm falling
