Memories shared,
Love gained,
Until hatred
Was all that remained
Oh but I know you would be charmed,
To know that your ego remains unharmed,
But give me a break silly girl
Our love lays where it should remain,
Like ashes in an urn

The Crystal Palace
There it stands on the hill,
a spectacle for all to see,
giving many a thrill,
so grand it is,
oh' Paxton's marvel,
over there she stands,
The palace of Crystal,
so much joy it gave,
now she stands no more,
upon her garden grave.

Moving On
I tell you my friend,
here today,
She can make you bend,
Burn your heart out,
she will, she will,
I know it is the past,
Yet my friend pray it wont last,
For I have loved her and I have lost her
in fact,
once upon a time, all year long,
But i came to learn that some people,
are best left in the past where they belong.

All Red at The Somme
All Red all dead,
one walks through the fields,
carefully one must tread,
Through the Scarlet puddles and their eyes so peeled,
For their scars are unheard through this field o' hell,
Yet one must realize,
Hell is where we fell.
Yet
No church bells heard,
No lovers quarrel,
For it is all Red at the Somme

A White Star

Unto the moon we drove,
oh but then I was just a kid,
further further
I see I see
an Iceberg said he,
I saw I saw a white star,
Lift she did
Then sunk into the icy tar,
Oh now oh now I see not,
that white star that haunts my dreams,
she buckled at her seams
she did, she did,
Now she sits upon the sea bed,
all dead, all dead
I saw a white star I did I did
