Anyone who has suffered, IS suffering, or knows someone who is suffering domestic violence should watch The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart. It's amazing and the ending literally made me weep.

P.S. Sigourney Weaver kicked ass in her role.

Shogun starring Hiroyuki Sanada ( one of my all-time favorite actors )
It's an AMAZING series so far!
If there’s one show that everyone is talking about right now, it’s Shogun. From the start, the FX series has been highly-anticipated by fans, who’ve been awaiting another on-screen adaptation of James Clavell’s novel for decades.
Following three characters who collide in seventeenth century Japan, the series has already proven itself as the show to beat for 2024. Currently sitting at 99% on Rotten Tomatoes, the mini-series has gained a fast following, with many viewers declaring it a “masterpiece“.

Just wow.
Ohhhhh there's going to be a season 2!!!!! Guys, this earliest "prequel" to "Yellowstone" is amazing. I can't say enough about the filmography as well as the authenticity of the era. And that narration is absolutely poetic.
And what is with all the prequels to series lately?! I had no idea that lawman Bass Reeves was involved in all of this. And, that the Lone Ranger was inspired by him?! Then why was the Lone Ranger white?! So many questions, no answers.

Shogun was AMAZING. Seriously. I kinda hope there's not a second series. I don't know how it could be better or even equal in quality.
My grandson has me watching 'Reacher' right now.
