what from i see on this site there is a misconception.
what is poetry? who was authorized to say what is and what isn't? i have read a few lines from a few people and from what Ive seen i have only been impressed by 2 poetry comes from the heart not the mind people use it to make racist statements or to jot down just plain rubbish a lot of them don't make any sense. i should be able to read and not have to guess what is meant nor should i have to analyze the meanings i should read and feel what is being said because again poetry comes from the heart it is your feelings about yourself, your sexuality,the world, your life day to day or just life in general. i am all for critique but when you critique me and i read yours not being impressed and you have the same people patting you on the back every time does one ever wonder if their ego is just being stroked to follow or to be followed?  lead don't mislead dripping and drooling yes because that's exactly what happens you drip and you drool. you can write for years but unless you have sold millions your opinions don't mean much but since this is "DUP" all opinions are welcomed but at least explain in detail what you don't like about my writings. don;t be vague about it be real. and give real critique not compare a newb to a vet aka another persons published writings too many snobs in the world today and i see this site is no exception.
