No. That's why I publish under a pen name. Thus far on this website I've had the pleasure to read the work of some interesting people with splendid provocative things to say. However, I don't seem to be doing well with my writing and I find the silent, apathetic lack of engagement in the comments section (despite a decent-ish (yet dwindling) read count) even more hellish than what the worst words of incisive, destructive critique could ever aspire to.

Also, it's not my prerogative to concern myself with those things others feel inspired to write about, but goddamn y'all are some horny mfs. How much sex is there to write about, exactly?? (that remark is implicitly facetious; seriously though, can any of the people here with thousands of erotic poems under their belt (pun intended) write a poem incisive of wit where the subject itself doesn't do most of the figurative "heavy lifting" in terms of making the reader resonate with your words?) Again, nothing against them but this platform seems to be saturated asl with these works.
