Unable To Open My Eyes
Behind closed doors lurks a different monster
Not the one that’s portrayed on every livestream
Playing off this charade that’s been getting over
Moving forward with the logistics of the scheme
Heartless in the belief of satisfying his shallow ego
We’re all human pawns on a maniacal chessboard
Plotting how to conquer and slay every single rival
Every attempt at peace will be maliciously ignored

Time Has Come Today
Synchronize your tiny minds, so you'll catch what I say
spread some crumbs on your path, so you won't lose your way
sunset sinks beneath the hill, the end of another day
the time has come for sleep again, i turn my head away
The darkness falls around me
once again, it has found me
i need to focus within me
the time has come to dream
I must hang tightly to the rope or I'll fall 10,000 feet
They give me a warning one more time, before I awake from sleep
I feel the shadow coming near, I feel the searing heat

alone with the dark
i lie awake & silently scream at night
the dark crowds in
with violent whispers
i see my flaws
they converge on me
& surround my trembling soul
they're the monsters
i carry in the day
concealed under
well applied makeup
& my smiling face
if people looked closer
they would see
the cracks in my veneer
i've slipped sideways
in my thoughts
the fall is coming
i feel it

cigarette dreams where you smoke
(or drink or break your

yourself

Let's pretend
I traveled over a bend
I went back in time
For no reason or rhyme
To be caught and tried
For someone else's lie
My sentence was death
Uttered under someone's breath
I will not go easy into the night
Once the moon is full I will see the whole site
There are men, women, children and aged souls
All out to see the penalty dolled
I'll be the last to go
Making me witness this horrible show

just another bad night...
some nights sit like a hippo on the chest
slumber disturbed
by hauntings believed to be...laid to rest
as internal screams still echo into heavy darkness
drowning out the thundering of heart
trying to still stuttering breaths
odd how surprising familiar can seem
when the mind is focused on other things
until we relax & let down our guard
& there they are
demons still waiting
hovering in the edges of sight
only peripherally noticed
hence...I sit here scribbling of old issues

Adrenaline
it started in 2013
seven weeks of
horrible stress
painful losses
no deep sleep
a broken doll
functioning on
just adrenaline
trying to survive
feeling helpless
utterly restless
she didn't fade
this razor blade
got more powers
as years went by
she causes me to
wake up at night
i'm tired & wired
need some sleep
i'm done with this
exhausting tornado
fucking adrenal fatigue

Once there was an girl that was named Samara. And she had a father who didn't care about her. So one day her mom who loves her drowned her in the dark well. And then there was a girl that was not Samara. And she had a boyfriend, basically. They watched this movie; got a call. The call said, " you will die in 7 days".
And the girl fell into the well, and was never to be seen again. Same as the boy. The end.
