I feel… I need to feel…
I, try, why can’t I see?
I, try, why cant I smell?
I try, why… what is that distant feeling?
Closer, bring it closer.
My eyes feel open. But are they?
I taste something… metal?
The pounding draws closer… or not?
where… who am I?
The pounding gets stronger,
it can’t get closer… why?
Inside, inside the cold.
Dull and blurry, I fee… no see.

In the dead of night, when I'm all alone
Reality seems squishy, the day's strife is done.
Not quite awake and not quite asleep
I don't know if the nightmare is over
Or about to begin
Let me try this again....
In the night season, when I'm all alone
Reality blurs the sounds of the night.
It's just not right, the body is weary
but the mind will not unload.
Again....
I'm all alone chilled to the bone
Alone, alone, reach for the phone
No one to call, no one at all, fall
