The Brownie and the Poet
On a pair of kick-ass headphones he was listening to music
that simulates a trip… while tripping.
Being there live on the scene, I asked him, won’t that start to make you sick,
Won’t it bugger your biorhythm, or jack with something?
He looked away keenly and said “and who’s this prick?”.
What follows is our conversation from right to left,
and what he pre-posthumously said.
I had my faculties, he was bereft,
So I recorded it all before he was dead.

It's Funny
It's funny
I have cider, and red wine
Both collecting dust
But whenever i have mead in the house
Drink it i Must!
It's funny
I don't like honey
In drinks, or on toast
I love it in a pewter goblet
Or a glass at most
It's funny
That i love smoking weed
When drinking mead
That they happen to rhyme
Is a little sublime
It's funny
I imagine a dinosaur
Would find me quite a delight
Full basted in herbs, and honey
I'm sure i'd make a delicious bite!

Green House
I am one- one out of the not so many-
that sees, & feels deeply the illusion- the dead end;
every waking moment- this "some-body"-
housing a flickery flame flighty energy;
buried alive while at the same time within as well as extension of the "belly of the beast....
no wings to fly away- weighed down by the force of gravity;
a "greenhouse", is the one and only dream-that
one's soul encased in this fleshy machine seeks;
Ideally the best quality of endless weed-
to take...

I bought a Jumanji keyboard
It is my portal to another sandbox
where I am in control, I was told
just as long as I’m not an idiot
and loose my idiosyncratic lives
The portal people gave me a few
extra
Use them or loose them
I was told
I bought into their idea
while at their strange brownie bakery
inside the looking glass
at the freelance hooker hangout.
Its always best to be in a separate sandbox
