Night has fallen,
I wait for sound.
I hear just the ocean,
These sounds surround.
The waves of feeling Crash all around.
My problem,
Lies in the deep.

exploitation is, Where emotion lives
Make them do.
Make them say.
No thoughts engage.
Don't let it slip out.
If you run hard,
If you run far,
I could say all is well and feel like you are on my side.
Don't let it slip out,
Just trust me I know.

Just like the fallen,
I make no sound.
My fear's an ocean-
Of unreal per-portions, ...
I wait for sound.

Claws
Silly girl antics
Don't fool me anymore
I see a claws out social climber
Looking for her next meal
I draw my head back
From the noose just in time
I don't claim to be all that much
But that doesn't mean
I'm not a target to some
Who just want to take what I have
And use it up
Leaving me broken down
Thank God that
This is not my first rodeo honey
I have enough experience to see you
For what you are
I don't care what you want to become
Pull your claws back in
And wave goodbye

power of investment
he used to tell me...when it comes to love
the one least invested has the most power
I resented it at the time
it made me so angry...
...so hurt
guess that shows where I fell in our equation...
in the end...turns out he was right
truth is...love is only as real as we allow it
and not everyone has the same capacity
...translation...
...or the will
but my mushy heart will gleefully fall
regardless of how unlikely it may turn out
because I feel most alive when I'm giving
when the glow warms my entire...
