Psychotic Monopoly
Pain resides on the head of a pin
Stifled with this cruel anticipation
While torment pierces fragile skin
The mind has a sudden revelation
What was lost becomes apparent
Once untrained eyes learn to see
These lies slowly turn transparent

Doublespeak is now the standard
Hiding intentions behind a smile

but if they did
they'd wear red hats
and suck the life out of me
aliens can't land their mothership
because the world is flat

Why I Could Never Be a Therapist
My mom always said I'd be a great therapist. I listen and emphasize. I know psychology well and like to psychoanalyze people.
But the problem I have with is fitting someone's experience into a box.
Let's take the well known CBT method.
Someone comes to you with my kind of problems.
And you tell them how could you reframe this to something more positive.
When you are literally dying and begging on your knees just to be heard for the pain.
CBT didn't help me. Having a caring therapist did. Having loving friends did. Having Heidi...
But the problem I have with is fitting someone's experience into a box.

A choice of words I randomly scribe, a symphony
or otherwise, between logic and common sense
No man is an island, perhaps, an olive in their
narcissistic martini
With a boiled carrot of one's manhood, living in a
fantasy, that they can't escape
As a cyclone tears through the asinine mind leaving
fragments of a demented soul playing Tiddlywinks
Now a warped old fool waiting at the depot as
the world passes by, living in a vacuum of denial

No Real Help For Those With Rage
Feeling dejected after being that a homicidal support group online couldn't be run by DBSA. God damn it!
