Poems about Fire
#fire
Beauty and danger, poems about fire use flames and fire as inspiration, warmth, fantasy and metaphor in poetry.
Feisty Fire
She walks with a confidence, a charisma so bright,
Her presence commands attention, like the stars in the night,
Her eyes hold a mystery, a spark of desire,
A flame that burns deep, like an unquenchable fire.
Her beauty is wild, like a rose in the thorn,
And I feel a pull, like a moth to a lantern,
For she is the light, that guides me to shore,
The warmth in the night, that leaves me wanting more.
Her feisty nature, so fierce and bold,
Can make me nervous, yet I'm so enthralled,
For within her, there's a passion, an untamed desire,...

A flame that burns deep, like an unquenchable fire.
Her beauty is wild, like a rose in the thorn,
And I feel a pull, like a moth to a lantern,
For she is the light, that guides me to shore,
The warmth in the night, that leaves me wanting more.

For within her, there's a passion, an untamed desire,...

Ignites
A lone flame in the night
helps again to reignite
this flow of blackened ink
calling forth dark names
a cold vengeance that blames
this blankness of the page
for so much suppressed rage
of a life denied on the brink
while below the fires dance
as this moment ignites its chance
helps again to reignite
this flow of blackened ink
calling forth dark names
a cold vengeance that blames
this blankness of the page
for so much suppressed rage
of a life denied on the brink
while below the fires dance
as this moment ignites its chance

Inferno
Flames lick ever higher
upon this poetic pyre
where the words burn
the lines do singe
even to the very fringe
of every bloodstained page
spilt ink of our age
left here so that we may learn
as long as the embers still glow
echo this ever haunting inferno
upon this poetic pyre
where the words burn
the lines do singe
even to the very fringe
of every bloodstained page
spilt ink of our age
left here so that we may learn
as long as the embers still glow
echo this ever haunting inferno

Flamed
There is a poetry in fire
the way it can inspire
all of these thoughts
all of these feelings
so many new revealings
while I watch the flames dance
giving silent names a chance
to speak themselves
to share their stories
before they burn themselves out
the way it can inspire
all of these thoughts
all of these feelings
so many new revealings
while I watch the flames dance
giving silent names a chance
to speak themselves
to share their stories
before they burn themselves out

the onanist
The onanist
I know of a man when following a nature trail
saw a sampling of a tree that looked neglected
dropped his semen on the tree in compassion
Years later, he visited, the sampling now a tree
which he sentimentally called my son and built
A fence around it and cut the branches of trees
that touched his son.
It was a lonely tree with an aristocratic look
There it stood posh among the forest's trees
where squirrels had fun, so sad, so gloomy
On a stormy night, his son fell, and no one heard
the sound; the man said, my...

The Poetry of Fire
Inspired by the poem of the same name
by Cipher_O
There is always candor in this pyre
verity lying in the poetry of fire
meant to ignite the write
summon forth a mystic spell
So that each poem may foretell
the truth of its own everlasting youth
for a phoenix after a lit flame
resurrects by any other name
Relearning the unburning of each word
so its poetic ending may be then heard

Carnal thoughts
How a mind
rapidly aches
thinking
about you
laying all
of your fire
down on a
stark sheet
patiently—
waiting for
my hands
filled with
gasoline
to greet
your burn
in small
touches.

Fire extinguisher
I was on fire
Now it’s an ember
Strike the match
Or put it out?

Epic flow of thoughts arises
Isis blessed me with her dome
Moan as she liquifies my throne.
Alone, I speak the essence of Logos
Ouroboros on my neck
Speculatively I tighten the rope.
Grope for my grave and vivify the bones,
Close the line
Time itself dare not to change
Arrange the dots into a form
Conform not to the edge of meaning
Swimming in the sea of ones and zeros ...

Black as ice
Wandering under the sky of skies
A cloud
Black as ice
Falls from the sky of skies
Landing on my lap.
As light as a kite
I trade my safety pin
For a chance of
A trade of
Black as ice cloud's wisdom.

Incandesce
How then to finally learn
as a paper might burn
curling it all up
blackening so brittle
a brief bit of light
to illuminate the write
cast gamboling shadow
upon these words written
even though twice bitten
never was I too clever to be shy
as a paper might burn
curling it all up
blackening so brittle
a brief bit of light
to illuminate the write

The Hourglass
Do you hear it?
The tolling of the bell
A warning
To those in sin who dwell
Can you feel it?
That beating heart of hate
It's swelling
There's no changing other's fate
Can you taste it?
The blood that is to flow
Pointless
In that sea of blood we row
Can you see it?
The fires that will raze
Comes hell
To cover in a deadly haze
Do you hear it?
Can you feel it?
Can you taste it?
Can you see it?
If you do
Then all hope is lost
You've lived your life...

To those in sin who dwell
