This strange bouquet 1/30
This strange bouquet
of micro-
organisms, poisoning as glassed dandelion
seeds blown, people skirting to a ball wearing bal-
aclavas, canvases
across their mouths highlight the speaking
eyes, the clear palpable
distance
in the torque language is
fear
swallowing an air swarm
Oh, belle-
donnas, you are a
quaquaversal vein
through the micro-scope
of space

The Cataclysm
Locked within this prism
I feel the cataclysm
that looms close by
threatens to unscrew the sky
This expiration of dreams
is far worse than it seems
hope dying all around
with hardly a sound
Preachers stand on pews
spouting the good news
laced with bald faced lies
while they plan their alibis
As the mercury goes up
fills my empty tin cup
lets me beg for some more
time on this drowning shore
Makes me want to retire
before the waters get higher
a beachside condo on...

We Survived Their Attack
(All is lost). Page 1
I python a deathly grip
Dramatically ensuring they don’t slip
The frame cracks from my pressure
Almost severing my treasure
Four years of married life
A beautiful daughter and a loving wife
Her fourth birthday was just around the corner
The echoes of her laughter in my heart are now stronger
Her thirty-fifth birthday came in fast to quickly vanish
Her sole desire in life was to learn Spanish
Glass pulverizes under my feet
Grinding its teeth as they escort me to my seat
My heart malleated its...

got stuck in the garden 2/30
got stuck in the garden
this is how to get shot
strolling late to the party
doubly fashionable by missing a year
the house torn by the garden wild
fleshy raspberries buddha squash
champagne vines climb the fir next to a disassociated lamppost
the gussied barrow misses a leg in the crook there the crock has a teardrop hole
driveway carless & only becomes engaged by the light rays which moves still things in shadow
flowers write letters to the sky
people were once upon a time the creationists
of dust & are

what light
through yonder

Autumn in America
Autumn in America
Operatic Gospels
Are plagiarized from Hebrew legends
To sell Papal Ponzi schemes
To penetrate easter eggs into embryonic misogyny
With the premature TV evangelism of bearded patriarchs
Who preach to death row inmates
On the sanctity of life
And on the streets
Derelict prophets give sermons
To Armani clad business men
On giving alms to the poor
While poets in their garrets
Write sonnets in the autumnal light
Of the American sunset

before time was invented
Before time was invented
A long time ago when our world was much bigger than it is now and had a landscape pleasing to the eye and no steep hills to climb Since seasons had not been divided into summer spring, autumn, and winter, the weather was mild and no one knew the what a day was when it rained, not too often people walked outside and took a shower.
The land was full of potatoes, carrots, and beans as for meat there was Dogger Bank with millions of cattle and wild hogs, no one was going hungry A man from Glendale was walking across a field to meet another man to see...

restless is Portugal
Restless is Portugal
There is mayhem in Paradise
the citizens of Lisbon are tired of the bother
and street fighting, where knives are used by
migrants
Gang fights, robbery, and shop theft is a daily
Matter, the police work double shifts
Most of the incomers are from Pakistan and
Bangladesh, where Portugal once had a colony
The democratic socialists ask for calm
It was under their rules letting in people who
Have no work, congregate in the streets
harassing passers-by
A problem caused when a country takes in
too...

Salvation
Source of salvation
depository of sins
no cake cutting
in church promise of reaping
if we sow recovery seed

Dumbfounded
I sometimes have
Truly terrible dystopean dreams
Where nothing, no longer
Seems, what it seems
A myriad hells
All rolled into one
The nuclear aftermath
Blotted out the sun
Mutually Assured Destruction
Was as MAD as it sounded
Yet still the buttons were pressed
Which left the world dumbfounded
Sadly, the sabre rattling long passed
Destiny
Defined as not if, but when
And so, they bombed one another
Again, and again, and again....
