Step into someone else's shoes
It's true that through this life we all may someday, have to go through somethings, that happens unexpected in your own life. 🤔 That will you have you feeling like your back is up against the wall. 🧱 For it's life that will throw you a curve ball, and leaving behind the devastation of things to come, into our lives. For no matter what the situation will be whether it concerns, your health or your well being with the insanity of not knowing why is the happening to me. 😔 For it might be your fault for it can be hereditary like cancer, or some type of mental disorders...

dance with the monster
I am the dark
that stretches across your soul
the voice that echos
in your hollow chest
doubt is my breath
fear is the beat of my heart
I am the surge that lifts you
to dizzyin heights
the wild laughter
that dances on your tongue
when the world bares its teeth
I am the cocoon of numbness
the abyss that awaits
ready to swallow you whole
shieldin you from the light of day
I am your oldest friend
your biggest champion
I am your enemy
your most debilitatin nightmare
the monster that keeps the monsters...
that stretches across your soul
the voice that echos
in your hollow chest
doubt is my breath

migraine
somethin breakin inside
snappin
crackin
a slow unravelin
thick darkness seepin
in between neurons
wrappin round them
squeezin
vicious
gradual
whispers growin into screams
silence barin teeth
nerve pathways corrode
my skull splittin
where I am the wound
and the knife that carves it
electricity crawls beneath bone
thru tissue
huntin
pulsin with violence
each breath a plea
with a quiet that knows me

Days into nights
Doubt fills my head
Eating me from the inside
Shadows absorbing the light
Turning days into nights
I think back to long ago
When happiness roamed
Through my thoughts
Now, it's gone
I lay in bed quietly covered
Like a corpse at a crime scene
Ignore and turn away
All my family and friends
When will this suffering stop
When will this war end
When will grace lead me
Beside still waters to drink
Eating me from the inside
Shadows absorbing the light
Turning days into nights
I think back to long ago
When happiness roamed
Through my thoughts
Now, it's gone
I lay in bed quietly covered

toxic optimism isn't the answer
Too dark
Too dark
Too dark
The words won't leave my mind
You keep saying the things
in my head are too dark
If I could speak under the weight
of the shame of it
I would say...
I'm not trying to glorify
my shitty mental health
I don't write so you can relate
I write so I can breathe
I write for me
And I'll never say I'm glad
if you're someone who resonates
and is down in the dark with me
what I hope you find
between the lines
are the words ...

Don't f**k With His Girlfriend
He was planning a big day for him & his girlfriend
today was Valentine's Day
he went to the nearest store and purchased some flowers and candy
he wanted today to be a really special day
when the evening arrived, he was feeling really horny and wanted to have sex with her
she's always willing and able when he wants it
she never says no
he tries all his moves with her
the room was dimly lit for a moonlighting type of ambience
they moved to the bedroom
he washed up, brushed his teeth and put on his best cologne
she looked...

I'm Not Okay
I'm not crazy.
I just know you're a terrible person.
And you keep trying to deny it.
I wake up to see you smile.
About the way you beat dead horses,
Then try to hide it.
I'm not feeling all myself now.
I'm becoming a creature,
Zoned out and not the brightest.
Id like to spoon all my brains out,
And feed it to you,
Your Royal Highness.

For Violets
In war torn skies the trial begins
A witch-hunt for ages untold
Dressed in white but paved in our sins
Silence golden favors the bold
Blades of greed culling deepest red
Welcome home wings of the fallen
Swing the gavel- steadfast they tread
In sacred temples we're walled in
Fester this wound now a calling
After headstones edge marking doom
A glimmer of black strikes out, reaching
Reaching for sangreal, blood in bloom
For violets unbowed, songs in the valley
For violence, its victims of the truth.

commitment issues
stairwell breathe concrete dust and regret
spiralin like my mood
up or down
dependin on the direction you’re goin
the steps know my weight by now
the drag
the heaviness
the purpose
third floor landin
where fluorescents stutter
I test the bottom rail with one foot
steel cold thru sole of my chucks
then ease myself up onto the edge
where certainty meets empty air
I pressed against the railin
metal singin into my palms
and I leaned into nothin
perfect negative space

Death will never tear us apart
They were together a long time
He was retired
She was a homemaker all her life
Most of their family has moved away or died
Two hermits that knew nothing more then each other
They loved tv and game shows
They never left the house
They received their food and clothing through the internet
Occasionally a technician or handyman would come over to fix some household issue
They were happy
They knew no other way
One day the husband fell ill
She knew if she took him to the hospital, he'd die
At one point, he wanted to go, but she...

Introspection and Individuality: Exploring the Landscape of the Self
A Lecture:
(Professor adjusts their glasses, a slight smile playing on their lips)
Alright, class, settle in, settle in! Welcome back to Psychology 301. Or, as I like to call it, "Why We're All a Little Bit Weird (and That's Okay)."
Today, we're diving deep into something very personal, something I've grappled with for years: the fascinating intersection of self-discovery, perception, and the delightful enigma of "weirdness." And we're going to explore it through the lens of poetry – my poetry, actually – and a rather intriguing story...
