A WINDOW FRAMES A GIRL

She sees the world,a sick creation.

Separated by a window.

Draws a heart in condensation.

Straight through the middle is an arrow.

In every moment no one comes.

She thinks about a life before.

The consequence of scripted drugs...

Leaves a mind scattered and torn.

The demons touch,ever so close.

An icy stare that spreads the horror.

Spiritual guards have turned to ghosts...

Those evil hands, now graze her aura.

Inside her room of padded walls.

Tally marks now count the days.

Defined,and branded by her faults.

The mark is carved upon her face.

I saw her there one olive morning.

Her gaze beyond our atmosphere.

Minutes seemed like hours burning.

I never witnessed pain so clear.

The ones she loved have all abandoned.

Left her within herself alone.

The story behind those eyes, the saddest...

From the girl framed by a window.
