We were sitting at the bus stop
"I wouldn't be surprised
if you were to be the one
that perishes in my arms,
to the point where you're
nothing but the literal
bag of bones you
pride yourself to be.
I wouldn't be surprised
either to hear that you've
dropped dead from starvation
or your heart bursting from
all the r&s's you indulge in
and i have to bury you
and preform your eulogy."
she continued
"Really, I wouldnt be surprised
in the slightest to hear
that someone checked
you into a psych ward
after one of your forced
exhiles, and i have to come
and translate everything
into coherent sentences
for the publishers."
"Why?"
"because i know that
if i died before you, it
would be worse then
anything that you did
to yourself."
