Elizabeth (A Song for the Dead)
Black, so black
A sea of black
Blank, but sank
Their eyes so blank
Rise, and fall
We stand, we stall
So it starts
and with broken hearts
We silently weep
Then collapse into seats
Fierce flames are pulling
Their crackles are lulling
The Earth is moving
This world keeps turning
Yet the silence is dulling
Dulling us all.
