The Meaningless Fight

Screaming outlandish remarks
Just to see if there's a spark
Winding down the ticking time bomb
Letting it all explode to dark

Only so long before things go array
My mind can only get so insane
So I plug in a new world and out with the old
I keep my mouth shut and do what im told

But a tiger can only be poked so many times
The anger inside only rings and chimes
Until eventually, you brought on this fight
Now things are exploding into tremendous light

I take my old world and bring it down unto yours
I drop my senses and let down my guard
But it's not you who feels the pain of my anger
Its those who felt for my old cards

And now all is lost when I look in their eyes
All for a purpose lost deep in the skies
