Waiting

Waiting. Waiting for the moment you return to love me once more. To heal my wounds that never shut like an unopened door. To fall into me. To rid my tears that shed down like an open sea.  To comfort me and tell me that you are mine. To make me truly smile as bright as the stars that shine. To be here in the moment and forever. My tears fall and I'm not giving in never. My heart aches to love you. Waiting for you. Missing a beat now we are two. My tears silently fall like rain. My heart beats against the emptiness and pain. Beating to an imperfect rhythm now in my chest. To fake a smile just to fake being my best. Trying to keep up with it all. But breaking down after the fall. Not truly wanting to live. I have nothing left to give. My heart could never truly love another because I'm in love with you. With you my skies are beautiful and brightly blue. With you my heart beats in perfect unison. With you my beginning just begun. With you my smile is my laughter. With you my happiness is my ever after. With you my spirit is free. With you there is a better me. I would be lying to God if I said I could go on. To wake up to another dawn. Without you I am broken. Without you my words are unspoken. Without you I'm lost. Without you my life has no cost. Without you I give up the fight. Without you my heart dims its light. I'm on my knees pleading and begging for you. Begging to be put back brand new. Begging as tears flow down my cheek. Not afraid to show you that I can be weak. I'm only human willing to love only you. Because its the only thing I know how to ever do.
