There's This Girl
See there's a girl and then you got me. She is beautiful and well she's all I see. Her smile is like the morning sun that lights up my life. Her laughter is the joy that buries all my struggles and strife. Her eyes are like the stars that shine. This girl I'm lucky to be calling mine. I may not have many riches love. But I try my best in this world where it's like push and shove. My words may not fall just like I hoped they would. But my heart says to keep going like I always should. My palms sometimes get sweaty and my nerves turn into butterflies. But I promise you love my heart never lies. I may not always have the answers to every why. And I hope it's ok that I'm just a bit shy. Because when I look at your beautiful face. It reminds me of home. A safe welcoming place. Where the stream runs across the muddy brook. And even when the birds see your beauty, they had to take a second look. Where the clouds in the sky are like white Cotten. But in my heart your grace will never be forgotten. I may never write our love song for only two. But my love, I will always and forever fall in love with you.
