Streetlights- For Raven Lilith Blackwood:)

Walking down a lit up road
Barely seeing anyone at all
The flicker of the streetlights hang above me
The shadow of the moon stalks along behind me

When sky's are grey, I look for you;
Look for the hope that once existed,
Somewhere deep within my soul
I know it's there
But drowning in these unnamed substances
Of thoughts and emotions
I will find you;
If it takes me the rest of my life,
The streetlights will shine,
It's bulb replaced,
No more flickers in this mind will

And,
Soon walking down that road...
Everyone will be there to greet me.
