It is my time to Smile!!!

I subscribed to you because I think you have great ideas and deep thoughts and much potential as a poet..This poem say's some great things but my honest critique is this- I would rewrite it more this way- for greater potency and readability-
 
I may not be a princess, I am not looking for a prince.
I may just be a small -little girl
but, I have dreamed to travel the world.
 
Fairy tales are but unrealistic fantasies, possible yet so rare.
 
Dearest friends I hope you know  
that even when I don't show it -
know I always care  
I am always the shoulder you can lean on-
I'm there
 
I don't regret any choices I've made or any of the people I've met.
 
Living with regrets is pointless because  
they don't let you move on and learn from your mistakes.
 
I really hope one day we can all be happy with ourselves and each other.
 
Again I'm no princess and I am not looking for a prince.
Instead ,I'm a real girl-
looking for a friend, a companion, and a rock to lean on.
 
A lot has happened in so little time but everything has really opened my eyes  
I see that I am not alone -never have been and never will be.
I am finally happy and content with myself and my life.
Smile, Dream, be Proud of who you are  
 
This is just a basic suggestion and I took the time because I care...also, proud to hear your self- growth in this-being happy with yourself is the only place to start.
