realizing pastries
Me preaching sobriety, honesty, or staying clean.
Is like a white Martin Luther, in a middle school day dream.
Its like an Obama health plan, to a man who's already dead.
Or like a pirate without a ship, when land is just ahead.
Trying hard to make a point, i start to get lost, cant you go to Walgreens and buy a box.
Will you not just stop when your freedom gets taken, when your daughter calls him dad, so you pray he can manage, when you know your a great dad, but a better junkie you've made.
When your sincere about quitting, and you practice being fake.
I'm the best at being worst, the best at realizing its over, I'm the best at running away, and the worst at staying sober.
But I'm the best at trying, and attempting a new fate, not what i can't change tomorrow, but what i can just for today.
