When I See You
...And just like that, he has me.
Makes it difficult for me to maintain the ability
I have to serve my customers
See, "he" has a name that I've never asked about
Three years at 8:15 he's on time for his daily French Vanilla,
Croissant with jelly & butter, carrying a smile to die for
I've fantasized about him, took bathroom breaks to
Imagine our bodies one, in awe of what lies beneath
He'd never know. Instead, I continue to be generous, adding
extra sugar, & giving an innoent grin each time.
I mean, sometimes I'm flabbergasted when I arrive to work at 745
Rewinding the last hour of my itinerary, I'm like a schoolgirl..
I'm wearing a new scent, rehearsing my lines,
Preparing for him to walk in & be happily greeted by his crush
He'd never know.
When I see him, my glow of serenity takes its flight of Tranquility
I'm drawn to him from his humility, kissing him in my mind arousingly
When I see him, my body quivers at the thought of how he'd treat me
How he'd manifest his time in honoring my body
How he'd smile watching me take in his throne of glory
He'd never know.
So I watch him, five minutes of my day
He has my full attention & just like that
He has me...
Within my stare, I've undressed this man
I've imagined our lives past a one night stand
I've seen our future, Filled with happiness
I've seen our family, started from bliss
He'd never know.
When I see him, his smile is the epitome
Of what love is, that I felt initially
By taking his order five minutes from my time
That one stare, I fell in love with the guy on my line
He walks away, I'm shining with a glow
He turns around to say
"I know...."
Makes it difficult for me to maintain the ability
