If You're Reading This

Today I found a note blowing in the wind.
It blew up to my feet, its title red "Begin".
I opened it up and read what someone wrote,
To my surprise it was a pretty odd note,
It Read: "If you are reading this,
Maybe I'm dead, maybe I'm lost.
I saw myself and said I'd change at any cost.
My life hung on thin line, I didn't know my way.
I never had much time, I only had today.
So if you are reading this surely I'm long-gone,
I found eternal bliss and made my life a song.
I suggest you find yourself before you're dead or lost.
Find just what you need, no matter what the cost.
Cause one day you will see a choice will come along,
And someday, just like me, You will write your song.
If you are reading this,
Maybe I'm dead, maybe alive.
If you understand what I have said
 I know you will survive."
I thought that I had read a suicide note
That blew out of Some dead mans coat.
But then it hit me suddenly, it was no note at all,
The truth was right in front of me,
It was a wake up call.
I folded up that wise mans page and threw it to my side,
Hoping it would be a sage for those with no one to confide.
I'm sure that's how it got to me,
And whoever found it last.
I wonder who wrote such a thing,
I wonder where they're at?
