Time
softly the witness of us all
is erased from within
spilled so casually
it has done nothing but stillness
yet we blame it for everything
growing continually colder each day
we curse this silent witness
through it each day we live
forgetting its blessing
all the hope, love, and joy its given us
because this quiet witness
is a double edged sword
giving us despair, and loneliness
the witness we all regret
but can never seem to completely forget
we search for answers with no hope
weeping in the corner of our minds
too late to remember the worth
we move on still forgetting
the memories of 'Time'
