"I love you"
Words that mean nothing,
Emotions that grow old.
Life moves on as
Passion's heat becomes cold.
"I love you"
So easily spoken,
But nothing you can feel.
You've left a scar
That even time can't heal.
"I love you"
So pure and simple,
The cruelest of lies.
I no longer think of you
With tears in my eyes.
