Out of sight

Out of sight is out of mind
You never look, you never find
Just go through life as if you're blind
Coz out of sight is out of mind

As the saying goes, it's all about you
Your wants, your needs, your wishes come true
Who cares if your selfishness colours me blue
Everybody must know, it's all about you

No care what I think, so I'm out in the cold
You shall have your own way, or so I am told
Will it always be thus, even as I grow old
Where my views and opinions, are out in the cold

Just keep heaping it on, how much more can I take
Before life takes its toll, and my back starts to break
Take my place here for granted, and my love you forsake
For I tell you quite freely, not much more will I take

If I give you an inch, you will take one more mile
As you gain all you want, without cracking a smile
It's a purposeful game, that you play all the while
All those inches add up, foot by foot, mile on mile......
