(Picture Project) Lovers at sea
The picture lingers from the eye to the mind.
It projects like a beam of ray on water.
Its reflection conveys the innocence of desire,
wanting to fit your hand into the spaces of
another. An emotion that lifts your mouth to
each side, corner to corner. Each smile
loops on like the calm motion of the waves descending
down to touch the edge of the sand.
The couple's happy demeanor, if it were
to be personified,like the sun. The bright
sky hides away the moon that once controlled the
stormy tides. On a day like this, the two intertwined,
settling to what will be known as "forever."
