Black Bird, Dark Lady

 Black bird,
Dark lady...
I compose through rain drops of my own desperation
Oleander...
Poisoned by her beauty...
Midnight cascades down her back side
Will you catch her before she disappears into the night?
She wishes for you to conform your passion to her weaknesses
And for you to fly with her...
Black bird,
Dark Lady...
She is the gracefulness that sails solemnly through the dark pages of your mind
Ripping up the hurts from the past
Swirling into your inner barriers like a whirlpool
If you remove her black dress with tenderness, she will bow for you...
Softly trace your fingers from her toes to the inside of her thighs
Can you feel her blood pulse through the intricate web of veins that line her legs?
Read her thoughts as she stares at you with deepness
What do you think you will find?
I promise that her song is that which your heart bleeds for
She stands beside you, vacantly staring into her own sea of emotions
Soft sighs... like black feathers against her cheek
Black bird,
Dark Lady...
She knows that this is why the caged bird sings...
It sings for those things that sting the thing that beats
For that which weaves a bitter scar and leaves love a hollow, empty casket
It sings for the night not to ravage her, but to hold her...
~Listen to her silent echo as the piano serenades the night~
She pleads for you to lay heat to her ice
To dispel the pain
Hidden tears fall from her eyes...
No one can feel her shame
She sings for that which shines brightly through the night
She sings for you tonight...
Whispers of sexually explicit tones; teasing the stars in the sky
Seductive wings of black feathers, cushion the fear inside
Black Bird,
Dark Lady...
Come fly with her tonight
