She lays so still
She lays so still, eyes slowly close, here find a peaceful rest
With figure stilled, in linen wrapped, a gently beating breast
As softly sweetly scented breath, escapes into the night
Where dreams and visions swirl then merge, and fantasies take flight
These darkened hours do fly to soon, there restful calm be missed
But drift she will and sleep again, with forehead tender kissed.............
