New Years Evil

New years eve
blood stained sleeve
the months got lost
so quickly
like stitches
in the weave
 
clenched fist
duck dive and twist
any excuse for a piss up
how could these idiots resist
so close to annihilation
and we didn't even know it?
excuse me but i used up all my  
Christmas spirit.
 
Much new years evil
on the edge of town
with the Plasticine smiles
and the fake leather frowns
the idiot people
with slime for face
trapped with out a future
ladies and gentleman
i give you the human race.

this countdown had been aborted
clubs only accepted per-booked tickets
the kind that somebody didn't get sorted.
Loud bangs
random flashes of light
people start fighting
as this party's turns to shite.
This year will be the same as last year
or any of the  years previous
people will still be devious
people will still be lost
people will take a step back
never  realizing the cost
people will still shove you about
to prove there might
argument's will always be wrong
they will always be right
it may be a new year
but the world will NOT change overnight.
