Replacement; Light

This continues the story well, with a strong spirit in it.  But again, and on and off, you changed tenses.  This happened in your last poem, too, in the line that ends with the word "yield."
 
Back to this poem--lines 14-18 are worded in a way that one finds it difficult to discern what you're saying.  "In her leave a sword,"--who's leaving a sword in her?  I actually kind of know what you mean there, but it takes a little effort, and that's not where the reader's effort should be placed.  "My dark, trembling hands picked it up/ it perfectly in my grip......"--Was that a typo?  Did you miss a word or two?
 
In the second stanza you're slaughtering some souls.  That's apparent.  But when you "move quickly to the next one" it's a little confusing with the first read--you introduced this scene by saying you're slaughtering "them," or words to that affect, and now you're turning to slaughter "the next one."  It doesn't make sense to now say you're going after "the next one" unless you make more detailed or specific reference to the slaughter of each one of the others, or at least some of the individuals out of the group that's being slaughtered.  If you're going to introduce the slaughter by slaughtering "them," and not "this one, then that one, then that one," and so on, then don't suddenly pick out "the next one."  It should be consistent.  At first I had no idea who the "common souls looking for redemption" were, as your reference to them in the preceding lines was vague at best, and I was still busy making sense of you quickly moving "to the next one" so as souls they really had a poor entrance into this piece.  And again, you lost me after "A light soaring fast."  Most of the poem after that is hard to make sense of.  Really, the reader should be able to spend more time appreciating what you wrote, rather than figuring out the basics of what you wrote.  The leg work of the poem is the poet's job, not the reader's.

You never take it easy on me do you? Haha very literal and I like that. I tried my best to put the souls in there without really making them a big part. They were a small part in this piece for a reason. They were quick work to bring on the next part of the story, the angel. I thought the basics to this one were rather clear cut for a reader who has followed the rest of the poems that were before this one.

I'm not talking about it being clear as in its following with the rest of the story.  I'm talking about, like, if you were talking to me about anything at all, and I couldn't make sense of what you were saying, 'cause you weren't making any sense.  I had trouble making sense of what was going on in that scene, in the scene at the end of the poem, because of how it was worded, not trouble making sense of the storyline as a whole so far.  
   
Alright.  I looked back at the piece, and found that one line towards the end, or one phrase:  "Through the sky in it fly's"/--That phrase makes absolutely no sense at all, and that's what lost me, specifically.  I was wondering while reading the last remaining lines, "What is he talking about?"--regarding that phrase.  
 
Just write it more clearly, putting no less effort into making it make sense than you would if you were actually telling it to someone, speaking it, because that is in essence what you are doing, just that it's with your fingers.  
 
You seem to get the story out there, and rush it into publication before you've worked out all the bugs, the little things that can stop up the reading.  Why would you want to do that?  There's no hurry, there's no rush.  Why not perfect the reading experience before you give it to your readers?

They say progression is a slow progress. Looking at it now I see many of the mistakes before I even looked at your critique. I must say i'm rather embarrassed and I can see where you got stopped up reading this. I almost want to re do this one completely.
